Northside Baptist Church is a church plant of First Baptist in New Philadelphia, Ohio.  

We first began to meet in a large garage/barn on May 24, 2020 as a bible study.  We spent the summer transitioning from the barn, to a hotel, to a small church and then to another church building where we are currently meeting.  What started as a bible study has grown into a local church.

Our charter membership service was held on February 14, 2021 

with about 50 people signing as covenant members.  

After renting spaces for three and a half years, God answered our prayers and provided a place to call our own. We purchased a property in Powell and began remodeling and preparing the church building for our move in date in July. Our "House Warming" service and a welcome party for our new neighborhood

will be held on Sunday, July 28th.

We are so excited for the opportunities that lie ahead in our new community!
