Northside Baptist Church is a church plant of First Baptist in New Philadelphia, Ohio.  

We first began to meet in a large garage/barn on May 24, 2020 as a bible study.  We spent the summer transitioning from the barn, to a hotel, to a small church and then to another church building where we are currently meeting.  What started as a bible study has grown into a local church.

Our charter membership service was held on February 14, 2021 

with about 50 people signing as covenant members.  

After renting spaces for three and a half years, God answered our prayers and provided a place to call our own. We purchased a property in Powell and began remodeling and preparing the church building for our move in date in July 2024. Our "House Warming" service and a welcome party for our new neighborhood was held on Sunday, July 28th.

Northside continues to grow weekly with many being discipled, trained and prepared for leadership. Our ministries are still being developed as we see more opportunities and needs in our church and community.
